Halloween Painting

This year I created a painting for a Halloween contest in the town I live in. I don’t usually enter these types of events. I always feel like I’m creating a piece through the eyes of the viewer rather than my own eyes. I don’t feel as free as when I just do whatever gets put on canvas. But I wanted to do something with art with my daughter. I thought it would be fun to do something together. I’d set out to participate in something with my daughter, to share the joy of making art.
